Kids Plus+™

Kids Plus+™ is a registered, alternative name for groups who wish to minister under the auspices of GFS, however Kids Plus+™ groups have a separate identity.

They may follow the traditional single sex model or minister to both boys and girls. In most dioceses, Kids Plus+™ groups pay fees to GFS and receive in return, leader training, resources and voting rights on National Council. These groups may choose not to wear the GFS corporate wardrobe, and have the option to purchase Kids Plus+™ t-shirts, design their own branch shirts, or alternatively wear no uniform.

Many dioceses have found that parishes welcome the flexibility that Kids Plus+™ offers in ministry to children. They have experienced an upsurge of interest in opening new Kids Plus+™ branches, often using the Starter Kits developed by Youthworks in Sydney.

Expressions of interest in establishing a Kids Plus+™ group should be made to the Australian Chairman who will then contact the relevant diocese on your behalf.
